I merged my account with my overwatch 2 Xbox account to my ps5 new account. Turns out it didn’t merge any of my progress to my ps5. My ps5 account and Xbox account is linked to the same battlenet. Not only that, when I went back to my Xbox, all my old progress/skins were all gone and the exact same progress to my new ps5 account’s progress
Usually this is the result of merging with a different battlenet account and overwriting progress. I would check out the articles about it first.
Be careful though! The cooldown on at least one of these is a year.
Note that some account links have cooldowns limiting how often they can be changed. This varies based on the type of account, (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.), but you’ll receive a warning in Battle.net account management specifying the specific cooldown length when disconnecting an account type that has a cooldown. Customer Support is unable to bypass these cooldowns.
