the map editor isnt working error prompt im getting…
the game cant find data file tome 1, despite being in the folder…
D:\Battle.net\Warcraft II Remastered\x86\SUPPORT\TOMES
Entire Error Message…
Unable to find Warcraft II Battle.net Edition data file ‘support\tomes\tome.1’
Your Warcraft II Battle.net Edition CD may not be in the CDROM drive.
If this problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling Warcraft II Battle.net Edition using the program SETUP.EXE on the Warcraft II Battle.net Edition CD-ROM.
Any ideas?

Are you using the version from disk, or the versions from GOG or Battle.net?
The disk version requires a disk.
well i bought the game from Blizzard store. So no disk, The classic version and remastered from Battle.net

I have the same issue, I thought this would be included in my purchase…
I open the map editor from this path and it works.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft II Remastered\x86\Warcraft II Map Editor.exe
The below path is broken because it creates a war2.ini file with the war2cd path blank when you open map editor. This whole location is just the old MPQ extracted.
