I believe there is a select few of folks crashing servers to rollback and dupe items.
This I believe was the reason for many other wonky resets as of late, as this crashing method has yet to be fixed.
thats possible. all i know is theyre really rubbing a lot of people the wrong way since this reset and they should really think about how bad this looks for them.
Servers down againnnn wtf -.- cannot even log in.
Do you get stuck on checking versions as well? Can log into US WEST just fine.

Can confirm. I was on for 30 minutes this morning but i just got back on and i cant even log into the server. (useast)
Update: seems useast is back up atm

me too. The past few days seem like US EAST is the only server that has problem.
Yea. . . .seems US East is either down or experiencing difficulties. I keep getting “checking versions” or “connecting to fastest server”. Then it just times out. Hopefully someone is looking into this.

i’m having the same issue, can’t log in and when I finally do and try to change game it kicks me out of Bnet completely and can’t log in again… Blizz, what’s going on here? You getting DDos or something that’s ruining everyone experience?
omg this reset is the worst i have ever played ! Us Est realm is at very very very bad state!

I just don’t get it, how is it not abundantly clear, that D2 core players, still love this game, aside from the bots, there are many great, faithful players, this game isn’t dead to us, its only dead to blizzard… They do not want to revive or even continue maintaining it, but we do not want to switch to that disaster, D3. Why can’t we have a nice ladder reset ? USwest is loving it up.
because east has too many people on it. its easily 10x the population of west.
yes, but this isn’t there first reset… and amount of players were 4 x or higher, than they are now.
Then they should upgrade the east server to accomodate the amount of players.

you expect blizzard to keep servers for a 20 year old game? the game only started rebooming like a year ago.
Except they could… its a game you can play with 1g of ram, the servers needed for it to be stable is probably nowhere near as expensive as people think…

Everyone cannot connect to UsEast. Please upgrade UsEast to accomodate the amount of people that play on this server. Obviously, the server cannot handle the amount of players during a Ladder Reset. Please watch the forums more during ladder resets as well, the wait time for these issues to even be noticed to send feedback to the team is too long. Please tell the team to watch the forums more. Please notice your server is broken. People still pay for this game, people still buy it, you must have the money to upgrade UsEast.
They probably don’t want to pay for better servers… Wouldn’t be surprised if they thought kepping the D2 servers alive was a favor rather than an obligation, therefore not a priority in anyway
