Warcraft 2 Remastered was working earlier today, but now it’s giving me the aforementioned error and all I can do is quit. I’ve restarted Battle.net, Scanned and Repaired (nothing found), checked for updates (none), and re-installed the game.

Same issue here with both Warcraft 1 & 2 remastered.
Hopefully this is because they are doing a bunch of much needed updates. I would be fine with it being down for days if it means they are doing extensive work to give us a more finished product.

A Simple Eta Would Do Wonders. Bought This Before I Knew It Was Down… I Was So Excited Too!! Lame Sauce… A Message Or Something Like “Currently In Progress, Should Be Up Shortly” Or Something. Although I Do Agree This Always Online Crap Blows…
Saaame, but holy hell at least tell us? Or put some kind of status message on the launcher… I know they do that for patch days in WOW and other games…
same issue here for I & II.
My solution to this problem was to seek a refund. Why am I waiting on the Battle.net servers to unf*** themselves for a single player campaign I can simply play through with existing editions of the game? Just going to start up the GOG versions and never look back. The quality of life changes weren’t exactly anything to write home about anyway. And the less said about the cutscenes the better.

Yep. Same here. Turned off game to make supper, came back and couldn’t connect. In true Blizzard fashion, suggested the problem was on my end. Spent 45 min in a loop trying to remove my authenticator since I did a forced logout only to find my app wasn’t working. So blaming the customer and not even putting out a message on any support media or in the launcher that there’s issues with the game. Nice. Now I remember why I stopped giving Blizzard my money for so long. Waiting for the fix so I can finish these campaigns and not open Battlenet for another multi year gap.

Same problem… gonna do something else and hope its resolved in a day or two or they’ll be getting my refund request.

Just bought it, was super excited to see the remaster, load it up…
Can’t connect to battlenet, game quits…
Oh yeah…request refund and uninstall Battle.net this is why I’m not a fan of Blizzard…

what a clown show, amateur hour with this 30 year old company. I was excited too, last week splurged and got the battlechest, missed them in the day, I came in with C&C. Anyway I did enjoy the first one, got to like the last mission until today.

Retried a couple times and finally in! Online servers required to play was such a dumb idea.
