Lost access to email linked to bnet account

Hi,

I have an alt account which I haven’t used in 2-3 years that I’d like to access again (just started playing OW again after a long hiatus. The email address this account uses is an old university email address that I no longer have access to, so I can’t do the 2FA to login (despite knowing the password). I’m not being given an option to use answers to the secret questions either. I’ve already contacted support via the provided method but I never got a response. What can I do about this?

You will need to wait until your request is answered by support. The forum is for players helping other players. We don’t have access to your account, old account, or any Blizzard systems.

I’ve put in 3 separate tickets over 3 weeks and they don’t contact me. Is there any other way of getting in contact with them?

Tickets are answered in the order they are received. Multiple tickets only slow down the ticket system for everyone. Imagine if every person waiting before you put in 3 tickets for the same thing—there is literally no point in doing this.

The estimated response time is 24 hours and I haven’t got an email in over a month, hence my question as to if there is another method available to get in contact with Blizzard with this issue…

Have you heard anything yet? My boyfriend has the same sort of issue, he doesn’t have access anymore to the email address that is used for his account and he can’t answer secret questions anymore. I’ve opened a ticket with information but that’s like more than 1 month ago and they haven’t replied me back either. He want to start playing again after a hiatus of 5 years.

Blizzard will only assist the account holder with account access issues. They won’t work with outside parties. He needs to put in the ticket. He can do it from the “not logged in” option. They will email him from a DO NOT REPLY email telling him what info he needs to give them. It is more than just secret question. To provide the info, he needs to open a new ticket and reference the first ticket number. Be sure he has an email that is not associated with another Bnet account he can give them to put on his account.

He could also use a free Battlenet account in his real name/info to submit the ticket. That makes it easier to track pending tickets or replies because he would be “logged in”.

It will take time, but they can usually assist an account holder in regaining access.
