Launcher cannot connect

Blizzard launcher won’t connect and gives me a BLZBNTBGS80000011 (1001) error. I have tried all the fixes listed in the article for the error and still have not been able to log in.

I tried the instructions for WinMTR found here (BLZBNTBGS80000011 error - #2 by Skelgarer) but the host us.actual.battle(dot)net gives me an error that the host cannot be resolved so I can’t complete the test to get the information to add to my ticket. Is there another host I can use for the launcher?

Edited 05/12/21 - With no changes to anything on my side, I attempted to log into the launcher around 2:50 pm PT today and it connected with no issues. I’m not sure what the issue was yesterday, but I am able to get in today.

I also have this issue - BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 is my error though. Started when I tried to check files to see if they were ok (whatever that is called in battle.net). Deleted and reinstalled. Still broke.

I am also having the same issue, I have a very stable internet connection and I tried all the steps but it still fails to let me connect sadly.

This means the DNS you’re using can’t reach the host. Try changing the DNS on your PC to another one, like Google DNS 8.8.8.8 or Cloudflare 1.1.1.1, either should be ok.

Same issue, already using cloudflare’s DNS as primary and Google’s as secondary DNS. :frowning: Error: BLZBNTBNA00000005
