Is there a setting somewhere that stops booting me out of login after 2 or 3 days? Or is this just what it has to be?
If your ISP is changing your IP*, or you use a VPN off/on, you will likely need to log in again. Some apps that delete cookies/login tokens on a schedule can also cause this problem.
steam, epic, discord etc dont do this. i dont use a vpn, nor do i have one installed. ive had the same modem and router for years. my isp has never changed, ive had the same isp for the last 8 years. there is no isp competition here, it is either spectrum, dsl, or starlink.
its frustrating. my passwords are gibberish and the client wont even autofill the password so i have to find it and copy it over every time. first world problem, i get it, but it would be nice if my kids could play your games when im not home to type in the password.
As far as I know, those apps don’t have a secondary process that verifies your licenses running in the background like Bnet does (Agent.exe).
thats great, but any response to not using a vpn and my isp never changing and it logging me out constantly? what is the point of a keep me logged in check if it doesnt work?
just noticed you edited your first response with a completely different reply, great. so set my ip to static in router settings is all i needed to know. thanks
It’s not a completely different reply; I removed one letter from a typo. It previously said “If your ISP is changing your ISP,” which is a TYPO and doesn’t make sense if you read it.
I edited the second “ISP” to “IP,” which is obviously what I meant if you look at the context.
Even with a static IP, it logs me out. So having a dynamic IP wasn’t the issue, as you suspected. There is no VPN. So now I suspect this might actually be a bug of some kind.
