Hey guys since I cant post on the customer support forums since I dont have a lvl 10 character on this account Im posting here.
I’m coming back to WoW for the War Within. I tried to log onto my main account only to find out Yahoo has deactivated that email due to inactivity. Im on this account trying to open up a ticket to transfer my main account to my main email of
I’ve opened up 3 different tickets now with GMs trying to get this issue resolved but my active tickets keep disappearing. I dont understand why my active tickets keep disappearing? Id like to get this issue resolved.
Any ideas?
NEVER put your email on the forums. That is half your login info and it will get stolen. You will get phishing messages. Please use the edit button to remove those. Your Battletag is all Blizzard needs.
You can post on the CS forum with a free level 10 in retail using the starter free edition of WoW.
You can change the email on a Battlenet account. You can not move your license between Battlenet accounts.
Thanks MissCheetah. My issue is when i try to log into my main battle.net they send me an authentication email to my email that has been deactivated. I cant log into battle.net to have my email changed as it just promps me to click the authenticator that was sent to the deactivated email. any thoughts?
Your Authenticator is a separate device that should allow you to authorize the email change. It does not go to your email. Your Authenticator was a mobile app on your phone, which they migrated to a new one that is now part of the Bnet app. Some of us also have the old keychain one still.
Here is the article on it
Did you have a phone number associated with that account? If so you may be able to use that to authorize an email change. Otherwise you have to work through tickets. Just be sure to never reply by email. You would need to open a new ticket, reference the ticket number for the first one, then provide the info they need. They will want proof you are the account holder.
