Seems to me that Blizzard has turned Immortal into an opportunity for a money grab. You’ll pay for the game then they will try to milk you for $ along the way for goodies that you should be able to easily earn.
Yes, they have aging IPs with little in the pipeline, and those products are declining. They need a money maker.
I am fine supporting diablo via a money maker mobile game, but they are out of control and are going to drive away the free players.
As soon as the free month is over, I’m not playing after that. They have you pay to get in and play and charge for just about everything in the game. It’s rough for a disabled retired army veteran who’s on a low fixed income to play much less pay for stuff you need to play. it was fun while it lasted, so in a couple of days I’m done.
