Installing D1 or War2 Causes Persistent Start Menu Crash

After installing Diablo 1 or Warcraft II Battle.net Edition on a Windows 11 Pro PC, the “Recommended” section of the Windows 11 Start Menu goes blank after restarting the PC. The only way to have it populate again is to restart the “StartMenuExperienceHost.exe” service, which will have it populate for the session and then will go blank again after restarting the PC. This doesn’t happen with Starcraft or Warcraft 1, nor World of Warcraft or any other games I’ve tested with. Once the problem occurs, it will persist even if the game and Battle.net launcher is completely uninstalled. This is happening on multiple devices and is reproducible nearly every time.
The two devices are a Surface Laptop Studio 2, and a Surface Pro 10 for Business, both with Windows 11 Pro 23H2.
