Not sure what is going on: Here is the problem.
Using Map editor. Testing Map.
Testing map failed to select default map.
Went to preferences and attempted to select default map, nothing… search computer for any folder named maps nothing. Logged into my account via editor, played games that downloaded map files, and played default maps and games. IT downloaded the file, but never created no made a maps folder. Which renders the default maps function to select a map not working.
I used chat bot and it said it was client side and also said it was stored locally.
The default map pack should have a location, even 8 maps… would be nice… Not sure when it was removed, but I hadn’t used the Editor in years and recently reinstalled.
Besides that I have a hard time playing the game, as I find it too zoomed in.
If this is the case it may because of how the client handles the installation, now, I verified files etc. Literally have no folder named maps, that contain, any StarCraft maps. I have a few other folders named maps, but nothing to do with the game.

Maybe I am getting old… but the editors are not as user friendly. lol
