I try to start overwatch and it goes to 'now playing' &back

Try to start the game(Overwatch 2), it is not starting. I tried setting the settings to default, verify my installation i tried the same through steam. I also tried to reinstall my graphics driver and also have reinstalled windows 11.

I press play, it says ‘now playing’, then it goes back to ‘play’. Not even a window is popping up.

In steam when i press play it resizes my desktop resolution and crashes.

This problem started appearing after i installed the season 9 patch.
This is the first time this ever happened to me since i first started playing overwatch.

This is the only error info i could find in System Information Windows Error reporting:

“Fauting application name: Overwatch.exe, version. 2.9.0.56336, time stamp: Ox65bae8e5 Faulting module name: nvspcap64.dll, version: 3.27.0.120, time stamp: 0x6542bf25 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Fault offset: 0x000”

I would like to know what this means and what i could do to start the game again.

Hey Bastirguy,

Seeing this is an Overwatch problem, you’ll want to post on the Overwatch forums themselves.
