I just have the cd key of the jewel case to the original diablo 2 and that don’t work with the dowloaded installer. Is there a way to get that new key (can prove ownership of that original game)

You need to redeem the 16-digit key on your Battle.Net Account to get the new 26-digit key. See the very last paragraph in:
