We all know that game is going in the thrash since years and FFXIV got a lot of new members. For me, lore is broken since maybe Cataclysm. With Microsoft bought of Activision Blizzard and the deal probably close in 2023, what about making Classic release from Vanilla to WotLK then instead of releasing Cataclysm and forward, making new expansion that keep Vanilla spirit in mind and fix lore. Also maybe keep/add the transmog part from SL? Nothing prevents developers to keep Shadowlands live while doing that. Imo it would be a new departure. A huge engine update would be a large part of that thing a success. This game could be good again if it’s have a engine with 2021-2022 graphics.
