I like to pop out the friends list as a separate window and place it on my second monitor beside my browser window. How do I accomplish this in the new UI?
Would also like to know where this option is. Also the “thinner” scale option that made icons/names smaller so you could see more people in the lists’ activity without having to scroll. Now my favorites takes up the entire screen height instead of a fraction of it.
Yeah I don’t see a way to do this. Sent feedback hoping we get the option to do this again, because having the friends list attached to the launcher is obviously a bad decision
I have the same issue. I can’t pop out the friends list anymore to move it over to my second monitor.
I don’t understand why Blizzard would make this change. There was nothing wrong with the original friends list. It was great. I could pop it out, resize it, and put it next to my other friend’s list from Steam, Origin, Epic, Xbox, etc…
I left feedback through the desktop app. Hopefully they revert this change.
Agreed. While I don’t mind the new look of the launcher, it’s only because I keep it minimized 98% of the time. Not being able to pop out the friend is a huge letdown, though.
Luckily, most of my friends are also on Discord, so we can still creep on each other there.
Other than submitting feedback through the app itself, I recommend posting in #feedback-discussion.
I’m not sure if the app devs monitor the troubleshooting forum. Also, I feel the same about the friend list.
Currently you can’t do it. The devs never thought that would be something you’d want/need. You know, because they don’t actually use their programs as end users.
So. It’s nearly 2 months now. What’s the fix here? Where do I find the setting. There was obviously a fix to this in the last 2 months as that is a long time for such a small thing. How do I pop it out?
Howdy sLowDowN,
There isn’t a way to do this at the moment. Please provide feedback on the forums here.
