Give me the option to get rid of this stupid thing. It’s pointless, takes up space on my launcher and I hate it. Make it leave.
I hate this too. Stupid and pointless.
Also hate it. No reason for it when you already have favorites. At least let us disable it!
Rolling out a new feature with no way of disabling it is just a bad.
+1 that feature makes no sence.
please add a way to disable it. I hate it
please allow us to remove this un-needed and unwanted “feature”
Pls let us disable this last played panel, don’t find it useful at all.
FFS remove this piece of sh1t.
I hate it!! I sent feedback. Let’s bombard them with feedback, maybe someone will see it.
Give us an option to remove it already. It’s horrible. I play 2 games on Bnet, already in favs, so now I have 2 bars showing exactly the same thing. It’s terrible.
Awful and dumb. Remove this feature, allow toggle off at least. As others have said, the ONLY purpose it serves is showing my already favorite icons twice and not allowing the rest of the favorites to fit. What kind of garbage design is this?
Seriously, they really waste their time developing stupid stuff like this… When there is already a “Favorites” bar , LITERALLY , right next to it. Meanwhile bugs in games and QoL just get caca’d on and ignored. ABSOLUTELY ridiculous!!! This reminds me of “You guys dont have phones” .
I think people are forgetting that the whole new Launcher itself is a huge chunk of poopy – releasing this turd upon us was just future job security to incentivize that “things will be better.”
These people are so far disconnected from reality they keep polishing a launcher with more ads and garbage nobody pays any attention to outside of the 10 seconds they’re on there to launch their game.
How you’ve not gotten rid of those responsible for designing, approving and releasing yet is a true testament to continuing to release less than lackluster products, Dragonflight was a sure-diarrhea example of where priorities lie.
+1 that this feature sucks. I suggest everyone to send feedback about it. The more people who presses on this issue, the more likely they’ll do something about it… (hopefully)
Some feedback: For me it’s a waste of space.
- If I want to play World of Warcraft, it’s not just “launch that game”. I need to select a licence any maybe other options first, so I have to go to the game’s page anyway.
- If I want to play any other game, I don’t need a shortcut either because that very rarely happens. I usually play for an afternoon or two until I get bored. After that, a shortcut button would sit there unused again, probably for years and collect virtual dust.
darn blizzard take a trucking hint. look at the post count of most of these replies… ppl are literally logging into these forums for their first post ever about this awful feature. stop being such a group of people that delay or impede development or progress of…
id love for them to remove this feature, its retarded.
If I could “Judy Chop,” a feature out of existence, it would be the whole launcher back to the old one, but I know that will absolutely never happen.
We’re eating resources for ads to play in the background if we don’t close the launcher upon entering game.
There is a lot of extra effort dedicated into going into trying to view the content expressed on the launcher. To say it politely, we the nerds, just don’t care.
I can see the value in this feature in a situation where you have multiple Battlenet games and they’re all installed at once.
I have 4 battlenet games installed, and they’re all marked as Favourites so this feature brings very little value to me.
I think we should at LEAST be given the option to disable this feature otherwise it’s honestly just a poor user experience.
+1 for a preference to disable this feature, which is redundant, useless, and annoying. Every time I look at this feature in my “personalized” launcher, a tiny bit more resentment will be created in my mind toward Blizzard for not caring whether or not I want it forced upon me. No user cares what is good design, good idea, etc. vs. what they personally want to experience. Please let us “unexperience” this feature.
