I’ve overridden my hearthstone framerate to 165Hz in the options file, but when i launch the game from the Battle.net beta desktop app the game appears to either be stuttering or limited to 30fps.
Switching back to the current live Battle.net client fixes the issue. The game launches at 165Hz and there is no noticeable stuttering. I’ve toggled back and forth between beta and live clients and the issue is consistently reproduceable.
One odd thing i noticed is that the game, when launched with the beta client, only stutters when running in the foreground. When tabbed out, the cursor (little glove) moves much more smoothly.
Edit: I’ll add it was working fine before HS version 17.0.2
