The game is set on offline mode cause servers are down
And you can’t play your online characters in offline mode
And you have to wait servers back to switch to online mode

Except the game doesn’t tell you it can’t connect… neither does it default to the Offline tab as you’d expect it to, if it can’t connect to the realm. It automatically brings you to the Online tab with no characters displaying. So yeah, people are gonna freak out that their chars disappeared.
They really should just be stating that at the very top so folks stop freaking out every time the servers go down. Kinda sad that there are 5 thousand posts of “my characters are missing”
