Give me a break Blizzard

Greetings James,

Account Name: ****@g.com
Account Action: Warning
Offense: Violation of Customer Support Interaction Policy

Are you serious, with all the issues you have, you ban my game and then when i ask to speak to a cutomer service rep you send this. wow…

Moderator: It is a violation of the forum code of conduct to post threads discussing disciplinary actions. This is not the right place to discuss your ban, and further threads regarding this issue could result in actions against your account.

Hey Trogdor7676,

Once Support had indicated that their decision (what ever that may be) is final and that no more contacts on the subject will be accepted, if you continue to send tickets in, it becomes game master harrassment.

Something that can exacerbate the situation is inappropriate language in the tickets. It’s expected that you follow the same rules in a ticket as you would on the forums/in the game chat/etc.

Asking to speak to a customer service person is not harrassment ( and that may not be a good word for someone representing blizzard to use right now). Its called service, by denying me to speak to someone and hiding behind your abusrd automated system makes you look foolishg. You banned my account for being “mean” i never agreed to this. GIVE ME MY MONEY OR GIVE ME MY GAME STOP STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS.

It’s not harassment as long as you haven’t been told to stop contacting support about a closed case.

However, if you are warned that continuing to contact support will result in disciplinary action, then no matter what you say/ask for, it becomes GM harassment and will result in disciplinary action.

Service doesn’t mean a company should do anything a customer wants.

Permanent account penalties are all applied by people who have reviewed the reports and the chat/game logs.

There is no agreeing or disagreeing with a disciplinary action. It’s applied based on the evidence in the game/chat logs and the policies that govern it.

Of course mistakes can happen. That is what the appeal system is for. But if after several appeals it’s decided that there’s been no mistake, then the case is closed and no more contacts will be accepted. Continuing to contact support then becomes GM harassment.

Unfortunately, disciplinary actions such as game bans and account closures make you ineligible to receive a refund.

To be clear on something. MVPs are other players, not Blizzard staff. MVPs do not speak for Blizzard or represent Blizzard.

All a forum MVP has is green text and the ability to explain publicly available information and policies to you.

Like linking the EULA that you agreed to stating you will follow the rules, understand you can be banned for not following them, and that you will abide by the speech/chat policies. You also agree to monitoring (chat logs/game logs), and that if you violate polices you are not entitled to a refund.

Stores don’t let you stand around screaming at the Customer Service desk either, nor do they give you anything you demand. You try to keep bothering them when they told you no, they call security and have you removed - then file a no trespass order.

To be clear, i literally just want service and to talk to someone. I am not screaming I am asking for the 500th time to talk to someone at blizzard. How does a multi-billion dollar company not have any avenue for support. To speak to a human. Why is this hard to have happen. But in typical Blizzard fashion no one will repsond to me, ill be banned from the forums, and it wont matter. Blizzard is terrible to its customers and its annoying and there are alot of us unhappy. I will never purchase from this company again

Blizzard does not, and never has, handled appeals via live chat or phone chat. An appeal is a chance to ask someone to review the logs. That is it. They don’t let people argue their cases, they don’t explain exactly how and what they caught, etc. You don’t get to have a personal conversation.

The people who handle appeals are real humans - GMs.

Your ONLY option for an appeal is a ticket. If they have reviewed the logs for you several times, and upheld the suspension or ban, then your case is final. Continuing to put in tickets on the same issue after they tell you NO, and to STOP, can lead to being also actioned for GM harassment.

To be clear - you did get a reply. You were told your ban would not be overturned. You seem to have been told that several times from what you said. Then you got another real response telling you to stop sending in appeals for that issue. It was a closed case.

You just don’t seem to like what you were told by Blizzard when they did respond.

As for this thread getting removed, probably. It violates the forum rules regarding posting about account actions. Blizzard Support - Forum Code of Conduct
