My wife purchased the MW2 Vault Edition for me for my birthday due to the early campaign access, via gift from her account.
I have claimed this gift, it even shows it in my account now under claimed gifts.
But all it shows is buy now on the launcher, and when I click buy now it tells me that I already have the game…
However, I am not able to download the campaign… again it just says buy now?
Current ticket response time is 1-1/2 - 2 weeks?! So does this mean I am screwed?
I feel like I am being robbed of a promised experience given to all customers! But because my wife gifted it to me, I don’t get access? How absurd is that?!
My wife went to bed in tears saying, “just my luck”. I am just crushed.
It’s not the game, it’s the money she saved just for it to be for nothing…
This is terrible! I really hope an admin sees this post, and can help me out.

I’m having the same issue. My boyfriend just bought me the vaulted edition to play with him, a friend of ours and some of the people he works with but not even being able to download it or have fun with the early access is just annoying. I’ve tried clearing my cache folder and even uninstalling / reinstalling Battle.net but nothing has changed.

I honestly just feel so hurt. My wife saved up 100 dollars for this for me for my birthday. She’s really upset, and went to bed saying, “Just my luck”. Just writing this puts me in tears. I know it’s just a game, but it’s the money it costed us just for the early campaign.
Plus now I know that the current response time is 2 weeks! We just feel crushed. How has this happened?

I’m sorry this happened to you too and i feel for you and your wife. I hope there is a way they can fix this and soon. If they don’t and we miss out on early access, I hope they can repay us somehow.

Thank you. I am more upset that she wanted to surprise me with this gift, and is now in bed crying because the surprise is ruined. Idk it just feels really terrible to gift your husband something, based off seeing that the campaign was playable early. For her to do everything she was supposed to do, and now we are in this perfect situation. That not even support can help me out, because they are not able to respond for over a week. We cannot even request a refund.

Yea its ridiculous, we shouldn’t have to wait that long to get a response, especially with a new game out.

I hope a Blizzard admin will see this post and help us. If they really don’t respond for two weeks to our ticket, wow we really did get robbed.

Yea, we better get something good for waiting that long for a response back to get early access to the game. If not i’m going to be livid.

Honestly seems like we are screwed on this one.
Blizzard has stripped away all meaningful ways to contact. If I do a bank reversal they will lock my account. This is just so sad.

So, I was gifted the Vault edition yet it still says ‘buy now’… i click on that and i get ‘good news you already own it’… Yet no way to download it nor does it show that I own it. Helllloo support

I’m also in the same boat; my friend gifted me the Vault edition for my birthday, it says I have the game but no way to download it and just a “buy now” button. I guess we’re all just screwed with this one.

Starting to seem like this is a major issue.
The game comes out in 7 days, so I hope this can be resolved soon. Or else we are all really screwed here.

I actually did just get access. Hoping you all get yours as well.
mines now working after playing vanguard for a few games. Got off due to trash games and now I can download. weird.
Same issue, but here is the funny thing. My son gifted the vault edition to me. I accepted the gift, and it says I have it. My son didn’t purchase himself a copy, but yet he has the installation… So it looks like it sent me the code, but he has the install…
Admin does this help at all?

I’m experiencing the same issue. My husband gifted me the vault edition and it only shows buy now after claimed. If I attempt to buy the game, it says that I already own it. I have contacted support with several screenshots and heard nothing back yet.
UPDATE: I installed the battle.net authenticator app, logged out and in, and now I have the option to install.
