AboHelo,
You can try the following steps however a reinstall may be the best route to go when this happens.
Lets try moving the install that is already there.
- Go to the MW folder and move the game and launcher exe's outside the game folder. These can be moved to the desktop or you can delete these if you would rather.
- Relaunch the Blizzard Desktop App and now the game should continue to download.
- If it gives any trouble run the Scan and Repair that is located in the options drop down (right above the ad video)
- Once the install finishes, it re-downloads the launcher exe and game exe, so no need to move them back to the game folder.
Repair the Indices folder and idx files:
In the Blizzard Desktop application, on the Game Launch page of the game in question, click Options > Show in Explorer.
Open the game folder. (IE: Call of Duty)
Open the Data sub-folder.
Locate and delete the Indices sub-folder.
Now delete the following files:
1. Go to <COD game root>\Data\data folder.
a. Example location: C:\Call of Duty\Data\data
2. Delete all the *.idx files.
a. NOT the data.### files.
3. Do not manually run scan and repair but let the launcher do what it needs to at the start and hit play when it comes up
