Anyone else finding that Flurky isn’t in the mail or companion slot for Wrath classic am I missing something?

Apparently Flurky is only available in Classic WoW so if you don’t play Classic you won’t get him. It sucks. I don’t mind donating for a good cause but at least make all the rewards available regardless of retail or classic or just have one pet as reward.

that is the problem I have Wrath of the Lich King classic with a DK and zero Furky
Came here cause I got the same problem. In reality, I am annoyed, that Retail-Wow keeps on telling me, that I got an unclaimed pet and I think it’s the fact, that I didn’t claim Flurky in Classic. Dunno…
Claiming Sunny worked just fine, but I keep on getting that Tooltip every time I log in to the game.

I had the same issue and then noticed this language on the purchase page:
“To redeem Flurky, complete a short quest from Innkeepers in any capital city, or speak with Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.”
I was able to claim Flurky via a capital city innkeeper (basically, they just give the pet to you). Hope that helps!
