I just built a gaming PC. It is very powerful. Here are my specs.
Ryzen 7 3700x
Rtx 3060
16 GB ram
I had been running overwatch great. 240 FPS solid experience. then I began to stream. The moment I opened OBS, or streamlabs and started playing, even if I hadn’t started the stream. My entire pc crashed and gave me a hardware error. I see lots of people struggling with the same thing. I believe for some reason blizzard games love control of the graphics card and they fight for it. If OBS and blizzard are fighting for control, your graphics card doesnt know what to choose and it shuts down or says its out of memory. I don’t know why this happens but after Bios updates, and driver downloads and many other useless attempts, I found the solution. I ran Overwatch as an administrator and all my crashes disappeared. I was able to stream perfectly. I think this is because by running it as an administrator, you are forcing it to prioritize your game over the stream. Make sure OBS or streamlabs is not run as an administrator!! I hope this helps gamers and streamers like myself!!
