When Overwatch 2 launched i installed battle.net to play and it worked perfectly fine. After 2 days battle.net kept failing to connect but i could still continue on offline mode to play Overwatch and log in inside the Overwatch game. But i wanted battle.net to work so i could see my friends and talk to them so i decided to uninstall battle.net and tried installing it again. Now it wont even install always getting the BLZBNTBTS000007D0 error or getting stuck at 50% Updating battle.net agent. I tried all the stupid solutions Blizzard tell us to try (yes they are stupid because the error is on their end not ours). I also tried all the unoficial solutions on the web and youtube. Nothing works. I power cycled my router, i disabled antivirus and firewall, i flushed the dns, i changed the dns, i activated the secondary login, i made a new admin account, i reseted the repository, i deleted all blizzard and battle.net files and folders, using a VPN, using a diferent computer, using a diferent router, resetting network, updating all drivers and windows, etc… i tried everysingle thing!!! I still doesnt work, and it was working fine a couple of days ago. This is clearly a Blizzard problem, my high speed internet works fine, my high end computer is fully updated with legit versions of everything including Windows, everysingle other game launcher i have works fine (Steam, Epic, Origin, NCSoft, etc)… there are so many people complaining about this on the web for so long… its been years this problem exists and still Blizzard didnt fix it… i mean just remove this stupid launcher already and give us a new one or let us play the games directly without a launcher. Or let us download directly a fully updated launcher folder/setup file without the need to connect to update server. Now i cant even play because this stupid launcher wont install.
EDIT: I tried one more solution i found, it was disabling my antivirus and firewall BEFORE downloading the launcher from Blizzard website. And it worked, i could install everything. So i did another test, i tried downloading the launcher from blizzard website with antivirus and firewall on and then disabling them before installing and it didnt work again. So the problem has something to do with the download from the website with the antivirus/firewall on. You have to disable them BEFORE the download. Its weird, its stupid, but somehow that seems to be the problem.
