With the new version of the battle.net app, are you able to add the authenticator to the login screen prior to a user’s first login with the option to input the serial and restore codes from either the battle.net website or screen-shotted from a previous device?
With the current design, there is no way to enter the restore codes and receive a security code with a brand new device that has not logged into battle.net previously. If the user has “Always require authenticator for login” selected in their security options. They then have no option but to recover their account via customer service should their device become inoperable.
