So far a workaround working for me is to not close/cancel the error message (Just leave it be) but drag it to the side and continue playing. You can also Alt+Tab to switch over apps.

Just chiming in to say I have the same issue. After a couple restarts I was able to play for awhile last night. Restarted 3 time so far this AM. Frustrating. Happens if I just sit in the menu for awhile and happens if I play multiplayer.

I solved this issue, reinstalling battle net

I am starting to think this has something to do with Direct X 12. My GPU is intel 4600 which supports Directx 12, and that is what is listed on my spec sheet. Supposedly reading on the internet it supports directx 12 but the feature level is only 11_1 whatever that means. I guess it means it wont work with Newer directx 12 games. Is there some kind of workaround for this?

I played a number of hours since the update yesterday. And only now have run into this crash today. Happened a couple of times while in the lobby and then a few times in game. Restarted my PC and it happened again.

(This is why double xp tokens should be based on in game time not real time.)

I am getting the same exact error code but it happens to me when I’m in a game for a bit and then die. the game freezes up, comes up with the code and after I hit the x or ok it closes the game completely. I reinstalled the game entirely and still get the problem. I’m guessing this is a compatibility issue with the game itself rather than any problem with my software and drives since they’re all up to date.

Clean Windows reinstall today → same issue
Tested at least 20 fixes, nothing works

Running the game as admin helped once but the error still comes back. I wouldnt consider this a fix for now. There seems to be some incompatibility with Windows 10 and the Warzone S5 update.

had same issue same fatal error. Anyone else have it cause issues with playing other games? I kept getting booted out of apex also. All last night. playing today so far no issues. not been playing long. Also i played for a few hours yesterday after the update before it started the issues.

i dont understand why its so hard for them to just build a game without and problems plus we all know they are going to take like 2 weeks to fix these crashes. They aren’t even noticing the issues that are going on, well at least i don’t think they had tweeted anything out saying they are working on a fix. great game but a bad job at maintaining and keeping the game stable anyone else even noticing how the fps are lower then usual i use to get 200 fps now im down to 90-100 fix everything it doesn’t take long if you have a team doing their jobs.

I’ve tried deleting everything except Data folder, I’ve tried reinstalling the game and shaders, none of them worked.
However, I may have found the solution: uninstall battlenet app and reinstall it.

So far, I have had no issues at all.

oh no … what if this is the new shadowban? I’ve moved to only playing solos into duos so I don’t get FALSELY reported … it worked until S5. this is so sus.

i think i got it!!! i went to game setting in blizzard in put this in d3d11 played 3 gaMES NO CRASH YALL!!!

Same issue here for me and a friend of mine, both on PC. The error happens in less than 5 minutes of sitting in the menu. Ryzen 7 3700X and ASUS 3070 KO OC. I have submitted a ticket with blizzard support as well.
