I believe I was falsely banned on WoW and when putting in an appeal I was presented with what feels like an automated response. I’m curious if I could get in contact with an actual person and see what course of action is best.
You got a template reply. The ONLY way to appeal is via tickets. They will not discuss or debate your account action with you. They will only check the data and provide one of the following:
- Upheld
- Overturned with an apology
- Penalty reduced
- Escalated to the Hacks team for further investigation (possible false positive)
The WoW Customer Support forum functions as an Information Desk to help people navigate the support process, answer policy questions, and explain account services. There are no GMs there and it is not a means to appeal. However, there are Blizzard Blues there if you have further questions about the process.

The only issue is that because I’m banned on WoW, I can no longer access the WoW Forums. It’s an odd catch 22
