So ive been having the same CD key issues as everyone else. More concerning to me is what happened after i tried a reinstall of D2 and D2 LOD. I got the new game clients off blizzards site, and installation of D2 went fine. When i tried to install D2 LOD i noticed that it didnt prompt me to enter my CD key. this was odd to me because i specificly remember having to enter both keys when i bought the game. I didnt think anything of it until i tried to play some single player with a druid (because Bnet is… who knows). it boots me from game every time i load in. classic characters are working fine. this lead me to believe that theirs an obvious issue with my expansion. its got to have something to do with not being prompted to enter my expansion CD key during install. What am i doing wrong?!

Blizzard ? what happened. the error message said to give you this code!!
Additional information.
- I downloaded brand new game client folders.
- I ran installation applications in administrator mode.
- It says installation of LOD was succesfull, but my desktop shortcut is Diablo 2 and not Diablo 2 LOD.
- When i enter Diablo via my D2 shortcut, it is the expansion version
