I tried to change DNS, reinstall battle net, execute it as admin, restat pc, restart router (starlink one). Idk what else should i do. Please need some help with this. I’ve bought midnight yesterday and i will not be able to play it if I can not update the game.
Same error here. I’ve done everything in the troubleshooter and advanced troubleshooter several times. There’s plenty of hard drive space. When I try and use the scan and repair tool I get the same error message.
Having the same issues currently, none of my wow variants will update and after going through all troubleshooting tips and clearing sufficient space on the hard drive, theres still no change.
exact same situation as myself then, had no problems until this morning. Will update once the install finishes and see if it is a potential solution for you
Sorted. On the off chance, I tried to run the game directly from the exe file. The file was reported ‘corrupt’ and the pop-up advised me to run chkdsk on the drive. I did this, and the updater worked. This approach wasn’t mentioned in the support advice from Blizz.
I’m dealing with this issue too after their patch this morning, their fixes, and the one suggested in here, not sure where else to turn, but maybe blizzard will finally respond here instead of ignoring and not allowing us to send in tickets.
