Hello! I’m attempting to submit an application for a job on the Blizzard Careers page, but upon submission, I receive the following error message:
“Unexpected error occurred while processing your application. Please try again after some time.”
For reference, the job in question is “Animator - Overwatch 2 (R008869)”.
I’ve attempted to submit my application through multiple browsers and on separate days, as well as after clearing cookies/cache, but the error persists. What can I do to submit my application? Thanks!

Well, this is exactly what the first troubleshooting steps should be. Normally that gets things resolved. Another common issue is browser security software or apps that can block some things, but using diff browsers usually gets around that.
Have you tried using a VPN. I know this sounds strange, but the website has a tendency to not allow ticket submission, store purchases, etc. sometimes. Force changing the IP by using a VPN can sometimes help.
You can try using a different ISP as well if that is easier, like tethering to your phone.
Hello, I’m having the exact same issue, although on a different application - Associate Game Designer - Hearthstone | Irvine, CA (R021239).
As the reply advised, I’ve tried:
- Deleting cache;
- Applying through other browsers;
- Applying with a VPN active;
- Applying on my phone.
No dice though. Did you have any luck?
