I’m trying to install the Battle.net launcher, but the error BLZBNTBTS0000005C appears, the article did not help at all. Please help fix!

il est indiqué de désinstaller le client ou le jeu .
Une désinstalation du client via windows n’a pas fonctionné. le client indique le même message .
Une réinstalation d’une version plus récente du battle.net ne fonctione pas non plus.

J’ai utilisé ccleaner pour désinstaller, idem impossible de désinstaller.
Une suppression des fichiers locaux en base de registre et le repertoire d’accueil pour le battle net . a permis de bien supprimer battle.net.
Une nouvelle instalation et aussi en echec…
je viens de tenter de lancer l’un des jeux (diablo 3) depuis l’exe disponible dans le repertoire d’instalation du jeux.
Une instalation du battle.net est en court.
je vous tiens au courant.
Et bien le lancement d’un jeux comme indiqué précedement a porté ces fruits.
le battle.net c’est réinstaler.
et tous semble fonctionné.

Yea, the article helps 3 out of 10 people but without blizzard fixing the issue in battle.net or allowing the use of working programs such as Steam, epic etc for game installation the 7 other people are out of luck.

I’m getting the BLZBNTBTS0000005C error for the whole day. I’ve already restarted my Mac, updated the system and re-installed the Battlement app for several times — still nothing, the same error every time.

Thanks for reaching out with these details. This specific error is commonly caused by a problem with the Windows service “WMI” (Windows Management Instrumentation). Follow the instructions on this page to reset the WMI Repository, which might fix the update issues.
If that does not fix it, be sure to fully update or temporarily uninstall antivirus programs which may be mistakenly blocking the Battle.net Agent from running. More information on troubleshooting security applications here, if curious.
If the problem continues, temporarily test a different network such as a mobile hotspot to determine whether the problem is isolated to your current network.

I have tried all 3 things suggested and still unable to update the app.
I tried everything, nothing helped, I don’t have antiviruses (except for the Windows Firewall, and it’s turned off completely), I suspect that I have a problem with Windows itself, since I recently reinstalled it. If you have any other ideas on how to fix this, please let me know.
Same issue with macbook pro 2014 version 10.13.6…

I don’t understand, why the user should try every possibility to make failures of blizzard good again. Before everything was working fine for me and after the update I was not able to play and I tried everything to undo your failures but that did not work.
So I kindly ask you to try to fix the problem and apparently I am not the only one to face it.
