Same deal. When i try to launch, i get “cold war application was unable to start correctly” with that same error code, 0x0000005. Scan and repair loop for me right now. Messy. Annoying.
Kinda relieved I found this thread…same problem but at least ik its not my computer kicking the bucket

I am having the same issue. It began after yesterday’s update. I’ve managed to play the game all the way to the finish twice in 12 attempts. Twice I’ve gotten almost to the end of the multiplayer match (HC Deathmatch) and the game dumps. Every time, the error code has been the same: 0xC0000005 (0x0) N. The signature and location have been different each time, but the error code the same. I was nearly finished with playing HC Deathmatch on the Zoo map just a few minutes ago and it dumped again!

I’ve attempted repair several times to no effect. I’ve ensured that my video card drivers are the latest available from nVidia. NOTHING has resolved this issue. I can play multiplayer in Vanguard with no problem. Just can’t play Cold War.

Lo dudo amigo, ya que yo lo compre casi cuando salió a la venta y tengo el mismo problema que todos ustedes. Pero. Solo. El cod cold war, por que vanguard no tiene ese problema

Having the same issue. It’s crashing as soon as a map loads. These clowns shouldn’t have fired their QA department

no once the system restore to dec 7 finish i open battle.net and no-reloading of the bad patch. now the game works for me in my win11 computer.
My issue still persists after performing a restore. This issue was happening before the Dec 7th patch as my co workers and myself were experiencing this off and on before the recent release. I think now its happening on a more larger scale since the recent release.
The same problem, Friday’s deployments make sense for Activision. Same error code, reinstalled game, repair game, and nothing. When i lowe settings to low let’s say i can play longer xD 4k everything low just models to high and textures

On December 11, there were departures 1 time per hour - 2 hours
12 December departures every 2-3 minutes

Same Problem, i have done all the Fix it solutions that i have found out on the internet and none of them have worked for me.
Same issue here on both my PC’s. One is an intel based gaming laptop with an Nvidia GeForce GTX card and my tower is an AMD build with an Nvidia card as well.

Having the same issue except now it tries to “update” but it is only doing a scan and repair and when it gets to 80% it gives the Blizzard error message with the number BLZBNTAGT00000BB8
Same mine is giving me a 0xC0000005 (0x0) N. Just started today but played the game on 2 days ago and had no issues…
I have the same problem since the last update. Sometimes I managed to play 2 games in a row but no more than that. Sometimes it crashes when it loads the map and sometimes during the game.
I updated the driver for my 3080
I reinstalled the game
I put everything on BIOS on default
I have run check and repair twice
No solution at all
It is 2021 and we are facing problems of past decades
I am so upset for the time I lost ……

Friends, I have the same problem in cold war, but I regret to inform you that I believe it is also happening in vanguard, I just played a game and I got the same error code. This is rubbish, so I already bought cold war and vanguard and a battle pass and I can’t play or progress due to activision errors. Cod cold war and broken vanguard
