and I have reinstalled all drivers and have it in dx11 but I found if you play sticks and stones first you can get throw a few reg games its hit or miss but it the only way i have found to player longer then the load of the matchs

Same problem here too! I have tried different Nvidia drivers and ran Display Driver Uninstaller. I only crash in this game and all of my hardware tests out fine. Soā€¦ the last update broke the game. I play with a lot of people and PC users are the only ones having the issue.

If Activision and Blizzard GAF about any of this, the problem wouldā€™ve at least been acknowledged and all of the posts on this thread wouldā€™ve been answered at least.

Same thing here. NEVER had an issue until now. It had to be the update.

A friend and I were playing fine before the update. Iā€™m running an AMD proc and gpu while heā€™s running an intel proc and nvidia gpu yet we both have the same problem at the same time?? Literally it we both crashed within a few seconds of each other.

Reinstalling the game let me play 3 matches before the crashes started all over again.

No communication from blizzard aside from ā€œitā€™s not our game.ā€ Nothing from activision that I can find. At this point Iā€™m assuming they donā€™t even test their updates. Or perhaps they realize vangaurd is terrible so they break a decent game hoping more people will ā€œupgradeā€ to it.

U know i just get coldwar as a gift by my friend a week ago and im unable to play it in the weekend due to this usless patch i guess. I will never buy the new cod, this is so stupid, i never seen a game down for 2/3 days due to a small patch in 17 years of gaming. I hope to see something soon on all their pages cause they r not talking about any error or crash. This is so unprofessional.
Have a nice day.

Work away from home all week. Look forward to playing some BlackOps. Come home to an update.

And then nothing.

Wasted most of my weekend trying to play only to get crashes and errors. Check all the settings under the sun, run the Scan&Repair which even crashes out with ā€œOops! Something went wrong!ā€, attempted that three times before giving up.

Then uninstalled, re-installed which meant waiting about three hours to download again, installed, re-install shaders, got into one round before the game crashed out againā€¦

A complete waste of the weekend I had looked forward to.

And I see Blizzard are playing hot potato with the issue. Not a good look guysā€¦

was crashing since yesterday, when entering a match or during combat it crashes randomly, multiple times. tried everything that can fix the crash but still doesnt work

I too experienced crashes and eventually ended up in an infinite scan & repair loop that always fails. To at least get out of that infinite loop I found a different post which linked to a video, see below:

As seen in the video I basically did the same by deleting everything except the Data folder. Then in Data/data folder I deleted all the smaller files (below 100MB in size). After that I started Battle.net and clicked the Update button for the game.

This worked for me to get out of that infinite loop and tested only to play one game, I will see if I get the crashes again or not.
