I am also getting the same error and now the game is unplayable.
Ok, i open ticket there and reported the bug that is crashing the game every time. Although u r saying that the issue is not on your end but the update that i performed that messed everything up was done in the battle.net interface. Can you please tell your business partner that this issue is affecting all the users that use a PC to play Black ops Cold War. We all cannot play anymore the game crashes as soon the map loads. This s big issue that affecting hundreds/thousands of customers that needs to be addressed quickly.
Garbage! Game keeps crashing after last update. I have the latest update on pc, graphics card,etc. Nothing has changed except last game update. Tried reinstalling and it did not fixed it. Wasted my time.

then do your job as customer support and try to help your customers and communicate with your partner companies and report them that there is an issue - much better than just telling us your company is not responsible for that - activision, blizzard, treyarch, ⌠I really donât care who really is responsible for the problem, it is your part to find the problem and fix it, and then you can still blame activision âŚ

Activison wont help us, how about you get off your butt instead of saying the same stupid generic crap and help us get through to these people? Im not buying any more cod games, because this is BS over and over and over again. My friends say get vangaurd, and its like no, this company hasnât fixed the problems with black ops, why would I waste my money on another cod game that is buggy as hell.
Lets face it, these companies donât care about our gaming experience. I am going to remove this game. The updates make the game worse, activision and blizzard doesnât care as long as they get money. I am over corporate greed.
