I have been trying to verify my email to hopefully merge this account with the PSN account I use. However, I did not receive the verification email promptly and was not available to use the verification link in the short time frame they allotted (I was driving at the time). Unfortunately, this seems to have broken the system and any further attempt to resend the email fails to find my inbox.
I created a ticket, but saw there were similar inquiries to my issue. Although, they had been deleted or did not fully cover my issues. I also find the audacity of asking for SMS verification without providing a customer support number to be disgusting; so I brought my issues here.
Is there anything I can do? It is wild that the 2FA with SMS and using the email to login with isn’t enough to verify its legitimacy. I still receive emails from blizzard (the ticket receipt email came through instantly) but the email to verify the account does not come. I spent many hours enjoying the original Overwatch and I would love to continue that journey.
