Download Speed Not Representative of Usage

Why is the agent only using 1.18 MB of the 9.5MB Task Manager is saying its using? (and is based on other evidence).

I’ve already tried:

  • Reinstalling Battle Net App
  • scanned for viruses using Avast
  • rebooted the PC & router
  • cleared the Battle Net App cache folder
  • IPConfig /release then /renew
  • IPConfig /flushdns
  • Checked my Hosts file: no additional entries
  • Ran a speed test using Speed Test Website, saying 9.5MB/s is my bandwidth speed.

And as usual, the easiest solution is where I should have started. Reseating the Ethernet cable plugged into the PC resolved the issue. /headdesk
