edit 1: this is with beta variant, waiting on fresh install of bnet desktop to see if standard mode also displays in such way, using beta build: 2.5.0.13100 (Beta)
edit 2: completely uninstalled b net desktop, fresh installed it, converted to standard, once logged in it still displays incorrect expiration date, in my case 13 days left expiring on october 5 instead of the intended october 6th as mentioned in the quote post by vrakthris
