Fix “Esc” key to exit map while map is open, not open the “Game Menu”
Detail:
Moving around you sometimes click the mimi map, which opens the map, slightly frustrating, even more so if you are in combat. Boss fights are the worst, moving around as a mage I am constantly opening the map while clicking elsewhere, and I use teleport…
The Settings → Controls does not have an option to disable the . The Settings → Controller lets you set a “hot key”. mine is set to M (I think that is the default) but it will not let me unbind the left mouse button.
To make things worse, when you press “ESC” it not only closes the map, but it also opens the “Game Menu”. Which again, while playing live, can get you killed. Pressing “ESC” from the mini map should go directly back to game, and not open the “Game Menu”. Pressing “ESC” a second time should open the game menu, not while in combat when the map is open.
While on this subject, the “ESC” button should be used to close all open tabs/windows before opening the "Game Menu. I, as a player of many games, see the “X” button to close a tab/window such as settings (Just like D1/2/3). I open settings, and normally you would just press “ESC” as a quick way to get out of the Menu, instead, you have to manually click “X” because pressing “ESC” opens the “Game Menu” even though you are already in “Settings”.
By all mean’s, let us “ESC” from all these in game tabs (haha).
