I live on the West side and my friend lives in New York. Can he join the server West so we can play together?
Yes. You can create characters on any server you wish to within the Region. Just remember that you both need to be on the same server to play together.
The best bet might be an “East Coast” server because I think those are located at the Chicago datacenter which is in the middle. It may result in the best latency compromise for the two of you.
You can always make trial characters and do some testing before committing.
Will there be an english server for Asia pacific server on the 22th of June ?
Or how dedicated are the asia pacific servers ?
I am planning to play either on Oceania server early or asia pacific server later.
