Diablo Immortal: HELP! Can't Fix Secondary Armor Screw-Up

Joined Diablo Immortal a while back. Plowed through initial upgrades without knowing what the hell I was doing, with the help of a very supportive clan. Got carried through low crifts before I knew it, and all of a sudden I had red cryptic crystals but not enough orange enigmatic crystals to upgrade my green secondary armor slots. You’re prompted to “use red instead of orange” and since I didn’t know there was going to be a sort of ceiling/cap on the reds, I used 'em to upgrade my early slots.

Then I took a break from Diablo for several months, and patches and things come through - as they often do. Suddenly I decided to come back and play again.

Fast forward to now: I’ve cleared through crift 385, and guess what? I’m still ~3500 red crystals short of being able to max my last gear slot (currently rank 18 of 20). I’ve done the math, and it would take someone with ~48k CR to clear crift ~410 (which doesn’t exist yet) to carry me through the next 25 crift levels to get the necessary crystals… aka impossible at this point.

Are there any suggestions, ideas, or known fixes for this? At someone’s suggestion I’ve already tried rank transferring to alternate gear and salvaging each of the pieces, thinking it would return the extra reds that I used, but sadly it’s only converting the exact orange and red crystals that a max piece of gear would require to level from 1-20 (some update I presume fixed that).

I’m in desperate need of completion of this last damn gear slot… it’s driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!
