Diablo II LoD was unable to connect to the realm server

I’m talking about D2 classic LoD Europe server

I log in normally and then I receive this message:

“Diablo II was unable to connect to the realm server. The realm you selected may be unavailable or you may be encountering connection issues. Please make sure your internet connection is working properly and/or your firewall has port 6112 opened.”

I have tried:
disabling the firewall
set rules for port 6112
restart and reset router and PC
reinstall the whole game
I also tried the US east server with the same result.

Any ideas will be appreciated

Are you still having this issue ? I was able to connect to D2 Classic Europe server just now and create a new game.

They are having server issues…its down here in the USA as well

Today it is working properly, the bad thing is that I don’t know how I fixed it, perhaps it is a server issue and they fixed it. Someone lend me a Grief and I can’t find him to give it back he might think I stole it all those days I’m out. Please keep this game running, it’s the best advertisement for Blizzard all this years it is online
