Diablo II Cant log in

i have been playing d2 again lately about a month now maybe less. i tried to log into battle net today and i get a very long loading screen after i click log in.

i get 2 errors.

Login Error: the password you have entered is incorrect. please try again.

i know i haven’t entered it in wrong, so i do it again even slower this time and wait for the loading screen to complete (takes like a minute or 2)

i then get an error saying iv been disconnected from battle net, please reconnect.

if i try to recover/change password it gives me the same reconnect error even after re loading the client.

i can created a new account and log in instantly with it, but on my main account it gives me the two errors…

i have submitted a request new password but haven’t received that in the email yet… however long that takes

have i been banned? soft banned? or hacked? im confused any help would be greatly appreciated

i have 2 accounts one account i can now log in on (my mule account that i use to buff game difficulty using sandboxie) i tried logging in on both clients with my main and i get the same results as above but my main is still not working.
i do not run a vpn or anything like that i play on my house desktop.

im beginning to think iv just been hacked some how?

Hey there,

I’m not seeing a restriction on the IP address that you’re posting on, but based on what you’re describing it does sound like it’s an issue specific to your main account.

What is your account name and what realm do you play on?

We have very limited access to and limited information on Diablo 2 accounts but I can take a look to see if I can find anything that may help.

Hey again TheTwelve,

I tried refreshing the account/CD keys as best I could. See if you can log in again.

If it’s still not letting you log in we may need to wait for the next realm maintenance/restarts for it to clear up.

yes it still does not work, keeps saying i have an incorrect password…

and i can not change my password either. i keep trying to request one but an email never comes

hallelujah thank God #lol pray you never sign on ever again either #until you learn your lesson #being banned for life permanently is fun isn’t it? #for why #downloading a safe VPN while botting.
