hi , i just install diablo 2 on my laptop msi and when i lauch the game only a small sreen appear on mine , and i cant adjust the resolution so far someone can help me ?
Check out Sven’s Glide Wrapper. I’ve been using it for years and have never been restricted or banned. It allows you to scale the game up to any resolution you want, it looks better in my opinion and it also brings back the ability to change the brightness and contrast in-game. Once you get the Glide wrapper installed and configured, add the following command switches to your Diablo 2 shortcuts “Target” field:
Fullscreen: -3dfx
example: “C:\Games\DiabloII\Diablo II.exe” -3dfx
*In the Glide Wrapper config, check “desktopresolution” to avoid the resizing delay. Also make sure “keep aspect ratio” is enabled to avoid stretching, it will create black bars on the left and right.
Windowed: -3dfx -w
example: “C:\Games\DiabloII\Diablo II.exe” -3dfx -w
*In the Glide Wrapper config, select the option “captured mouse” to lock the mouse to the game window. You can Alt+Tab to defocus the game window and move your mouse elsewhere.
Installation is simple, just copy the glide3x.dll file from the Sven’s directory into your Diablo 2 install directory.
In your specific case, I’d recommend running full screen with native desktop resolution
To configure the wrapper, run glide-init.exe.

My issue is not actually being stuck in windowed mode. Mine however is another graphics issue where i load into the game okay, however once to the main screen everything flickers and makes it un playable and ideas?
