Paid for and downloaded Diablo2 and Diablo2 LOD, patched, and ran game. It begins to load patch, stops at 99% and goes to black screen with white text box stating "Waiting for files to close: Diablo II.exe. Gives me the option to try again or other (can’t remember off top of my head) and does nothing.
Tried playing with properties, compatibility and -w for windowed, nothing seems to help. Yes it IS set as administrator.
Please help with some advice before I lose whats left of my mind.
