Is it just me but sometimes when I make a mistake and not switch between ladder and none ladder character, when I try and join a ladder with a none ladder character by mistake there is a 20+ second loading screen instead of a simple message like it used to be stating ladder and non ladder characters cannot be same game without the 20 second load screen. Anyone else notice this? And why does this happen? can I fix it?
I tested it on U.S. West and U.S. East didn’t have that problem. The message appears instantly.
I made a ladder game and tried to enter a non-ladder character. Then made a non-ladder game and tried to enter a ladder character. Got the message instantly on both.

Same here for US East and Europe – the message shows up instantly and then vanishes after a short while.
