I just noticed an update today. Seeing a release was definitely unexpected. I can’t find any information about what was updated or why. Does anyone have any information they would like to share with the community? Thanks.

Did you check the settings for making Diablo I playable in Windows 11?
I was running D1 in compatibility mode for Win95, and the update stopped it working - I just went in and tested it by turning OFF compatibility mode, and the game booted up fine - just went as far as the menu, so I don’t know if anything beyond that has been changed, but yeah, if you’re still having trouble, make sure you aren’t running compatibility mode.

you can indeed run Diablo 1 on you Win 11 PC with these steps if it does not work by itself as normal:
1.Click the right mouse button on the file diablo.exe and select properties.
2.Go to the compatibility tab.Diablo HD Mode Run with Compatibility
3.You put the checkmark in the run program in compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) from the list.
4.You can also check “mode with reduced colors. Select 16-Bit colors (65536).
5.Another checkmark in the “In-screen resolution of 640 × 480 running”.
6.Activate the option to run this program as Administrator and confirm all the settings with the OK Button. Then start the game.
But regarding the Diablo 1 Lucifer Expansion, unfortunately this is not on our store as of now. Sorry for the inconvenience
