Diablo 1 wont play full screen

When I try to play the game I get a small window in the top left corner of my screen. The game does not play in full screen. I have tried re-installing the game with the same results.

Diablo 1 automatically goes to full screen upon entering a game on my system, but when it first boots, it’s also a tiny box.

But you can try this:

  1. Press ALT + ENTER
  2. Reduce your desktop resolution

You may need to download a DirectDraw patch for the game. Download and extract it directly to your Diablo 1 folder.
