I downloaded the blizzard desktop app but when clicking on it to run, it will simply not open. I have tried deleting and reinstalling, deleting all file caches, and following all the steps seen on this thread Battle.net not opening - #3 by Zenlaka, and a lot more but it simply doesn’t work. When launching it, it will show up in one of my “hidden icon” tabs on my taskbar, and when I click on it fast it will open the login screen but then it will close and will disappear from my “hidden icon” tab.
Make a new Windows admin account to try opening it, or check for malware. The bnet app itself doesn’t have the behavior you’re describing as a feature.
