I have been getting constant lag spikes over the past few weeks while playing Overwatch. The issue is worse during the day and seems to disappear entirely late at night.
I have taken all steps to verify that my PC and network equipment is in working order.
Still the problem persists and it makes online play very difficult.
75% of the time, my ping is fine. But it frequently spikes. In the worst instance of lag, my ping stays at 200ms+ for minutes on end.
I ran WinMTR (for the in game IP using ctrl-sft-N) for a couple minutes while lagging in game. I don’t know if I ran the test long enough to reflect the full spectrum of the issue, but I can always run again or another test.
Can someone take a look and help me out here?
