The DOS version of Warcraft II does not have any references to Battle.net, open sourcing it would be a great way to let the community modernize the game for modern operating systems. Diablo I was decompiled and has now been ported to modern operating systems, open sourcing Warcraft II would allow for the same thing to happen. The Quake series has practically been immortalized forever because the source code is avaliable. If anyone at Blizzard reads this please consider open sourcing the DOS version of Warcraft.
